She swam naked in the pool,
and I watched, entranced,
as she swam beneath the water,
as she came up for air.

Tomorrow my day would be consumed
by ideas and experiments —
heterogeneous ribonuclear proteins.
Today I want nothing to do with tomorrow.

She flips and swims backwards,
the sunlight
	glancing
off her breast.

This is a day for dreams
    pleasures.
