What do you see, little Jesus,
As you solemnly stare at the light
I see a gentle beast in the stable
Who welcomes me this Christmas night
What do you see, little Jesus,
As you yawn in your cradle of hay?
My mother is watching beside me
Her loving smile brighter than day.
What do you hear, little Jesus
As your eyes close in slumber so deep
I hear shepherds coming to see me
And angel songs lull me to sleep
