Second Grade

But on first day there happened
A terrible event
There was another second grade
There some of us were sent

Of course we were unhappy
Just why we did not know
One of the boys began to cry
We missed our Miss Hope so

But Mrs. Brown was motherly
And soon we all were glad
And second grade became more fun
Than we had ever had
