My Grandmother's House

Then one day my very old grandfather died
And my grandmother was also quite sick
She needed my mother to help her, and so
My mother went there very quick

We children had fun in the house and the yard
The back yard was full of tall trees
Oranges, grapefruit and tangerines, all
Delicious to eat and to squeeze

At last my grandmother got well, and we
Went home and I know mother was glad
But all we four children remember of this
Was the wonderful time we had had
