The Poem II

When you write a poem
And set the words to rhyme
You can express a thought
You may have at one time

But the words that you write
And the thoughts that you give
Are a window into your soul
And tell others how you live

Poems are thoughts, and feelings
Set to verse so cold
They are your passion, hot
And the beliefs you hold

And sometimes when you make a rhyme
You cannot find the words
To finish what you started
And express the thoughts unheard
