There is Many a Word

There is many a word
That we have heard
That leads us to distraction
And many a thought
That we have bought
That leads us into action

There is one word
Have you heard
That word is work
And we can find
To do what we mind
If we do not shirk

This is the point retort
Of this poem short
That we find meaning in the doing
If all thoughts be true
It is what we do
The doing is better than the talking
