mew mew mew -- My name is Sunshine, but I am called Sunny.

I was thrown away as a tiny kitten, tossed into a dry cow pasture under a burning sun. If my human hadn't been taking a walk and heard me crying I would be a statistic right now.

Because of my background and rough start, I have a special interest in kitties who are in shelters. Actually, I think shelter kitties are lucky, as they are in nice shelters and not dying on the road side. However, all the shelter kitties do need homes, good homes like the one I now have.

The shelter kitties need toys, and human volunteers to come in and pet them. They need money for kitty food and medicines. In some shelters they need homes fast before their time runs out and they are gassed!

I am currently an important kitty in Fur and Fang, the Club for Friendly Cats and Dogs. I am the membership secretary, and run a few special interest groups. If you are a dog or cat, or a human who loves them, I invite you to stop by for a visit.
