Ashley was my sisters cat. Ashley passed away in 1996. She had survived
the flood of '93 with my sister and her family here in MO. She belonged
to an elderly lady who was no longer able to take care of her so my sister
and my mom took her in years ago. We believe she was near 20 when she
died of natural causes. She wasn't in bad health or sick when she died.
My sister found her curled up on a patio chair. She was a very sweet
kitty and loved by all of us.
My cats are Annabelle Cat and Gizmo Cat. They are from the same litter and about 2.5yrs old now.
I am just starting to get into cat breeds and have tried to classify these
to kitties. Annabelle seems to be crossed with a Bengal cat, she does not
have all the spots, but the personality and the way she scrapes her feet
before outside he water bowl just before drinking, is exactly what a
Bengal cat does. I don't actually care what her breed is, she is so
friendly and talkative and very loyal to me, she sleeps in our bed at
night, curled up behind my back. I even tell my husband that she really
keeps me company when he is at work , especially night shift. Gizmo Cat is my husband's cat. He is the only one that
she will let pick her up. I think she is crossed with a Russian Blue and
Korat and has a very timid personality, but don't be deceived, she can
wreak as much havoc as any cat ! She has a very strange meow, sounds a bit
like a Siamese and she also likes to bring us presents. The presents vary
from blades of grass to flowers to huge grass clumps & roots.
