I'm submitting this picture of my cat, Tyson for the Who's Who page. I
adopted him from the local Humane Society on Christmas Eve, 1997 as a gift
to myself. He struck me as an exceptional looking cat because of his tan
undercoat. He was very shy when I brought him home and hid under the bath
tub every time I tried to approach him. After a few days, he began to
realize that he wasn't in any danger and was more willing to come out and
socialize. Tyson has his own web page which he shares with our other 2
cats. The URL is http://skyscraper.fortunecity.com/lycos/717/tyson.html. I
will send their photos in separate emails so as not to get them mixed up.
Thanks for giving other cat owners a chance to have their cats up on the
web! Amy
Here's cat #2 from me. His name is Monty, after Monty Python. He is half
Siamese although you would never guess by his looks. His daddy was a
stray who got ahold of his purebred mother. Monty weighs 14 lb. at
present and will be 2 on Oct. 13 of this year. I adopted him from his
first mom at the age of 4 months. I was driving in the country and saw a
"Free Kittens" sign. Well, who can resist a free kitten? He is best
friends with Tyson and they are like brothers. Monty was terrified when I
brought him home and it took him a good week to really relax and fit in.
Tyson acted as a calm, reassuring brother and helped ease the transition
into our home. Today, he is a charming, handsome dark sable boy with a
kitten-like personality. He can also be seen on the cats' web page at

And finally, here is cat #3 from me, or should I say kitten? This is
Suki, which means "sweetheart" in Korean. He was born 3-9-99 and came to
live with us a little over a week ago. He is a copper eyed cream Persian
and I must say he is very definitely a "people cat". He is the first to
greet me at the door when I come home, he follows us around the house like
a puppy, and he sleeps with me every night. He has a very sweet
disposition. I don't know if it's part of the Persian breed or not, but I
am very impressed with his temperament! His coat is also remarkable.
I've never owned a purebred cat before, but I am really taken with the
Persian breed and decided I must have one. So he makes family number 3
among the cats. Amy
