Hi, my name is Sam and I would like to be added to the cat's who's who
because my mom and dad always tell me how handsome I am. I like to
play on the computer and read the other cat's web pages, but sometimes
when I walk on the kayboard my parents get upset. I am 2 years old and I love to do cat aerobics with my mom and
computer
stuff with my dad. Sometimes I get lonely because I used to have a
sister, but she died last year. Hopefully, I will get a new sister
soon. Thank you for having a site dedicated to us.
Sam

The large black and white one is Gus. He was found yelling on the doorstep of some friends almost four years ago. They took him in, fed him (that's where the name Gus comes from, short for guzzling guts), but then decided that they couldn't keep him as one of the household was allergic to cats. We offered to give him a home and he soon settled right in. He was little more than skin and bones when he arrived, the vet said that he was about 5 months old and had probably been surviving for a couple of months on little more than scraps. Gus definitely belongs to Rik and follows him around almost everywhere when Rik is at home. It seems that he cant bear being parted from Rik, even following him into the bathroom!
The small tortoiseshell (mostly white, on the left side of the picture) is Purdey. She and her sister Rags (bottom right) were kicked out by the neighbor of a friend who refused to have his female cat spayed. We got her and Rags about 2 years ago on the day of our last house move which made for an interesting day! Purdey is not really a people cat, preferring to spend a lot of her time outside. She does however occasionally settle with someone, usually trying to fit herself into the smallest gap possible, pushing whichever human she is sat next to out of the way!
Rags (bottom right, long haired tortoiseshell) is most attached to me, and wont leave me alone when I get out of bed first thing in the morning, or last thing at night as I am about to go to bed. She is very different from her sister and needs weekly brushing to make sure she doesn't get too many tangles in her fur.
