Some kitties are more active, playful or aggessive than others. If you never play roughly with a kitten she will be less likely to be rough with you. This mewed, all cats sometimes bite or scratch. With most cats these are "love bites" and "play scratches", but they can still draw blood in a hairless human.
How do experience cat humans handle these scrates and bites? I know my human female usually laughs. She has learned to tolerate a few mild scratches. My human male fusses at me, but he doesn't get too upset either. They both know that I am not purposefully being mean. I am just being a cat when I nip a little too hard or accidentally scratch.
My advice to non-cat humans is this: If you are going to get really upset over a few little scratches, don't get a cat. Get a goldfish.
